Daniel Barenboim returns with a completely new recording of Beethoven's Piano Sonatas and Diabelli Variations recorded live in Pierre Boulez Saal Berlin during this year's lockdown. For this recording, his 5th complete cycle of all 32 sonatas, Barenboim has reimmersed himself in the score of these sonatas, while building on all of his past experiences. His continuous preoccupation w/ Beethoven is also reflected in his new recording of the Diabelli Variations op. 120. 13-CD Box Set
